could reviewhunt be launching this week! Some thoughts about quests that I hope companies are thinking about! :)

Good morning, just getting to my first coffee of the day and I really wanted to get this video out before the hot weather started to kick in, it’s gonna be a hot one this week so it’s all early starts and hot lights in front of the green screen! — so you heard me correctly, reviewhunt could possibly launch this week and I’m sure like me your excited to see what they have been up to for the last few months.

if you did not manage to get signed up yet head over to https://review.hunt.town and drop your details on there, there is gonna be a lot of quests at launch time and even if you don’t have a lot of social channels I’m sure it’s gonna be worth playing with!

So i’m trying to find a way to contain my excitement on a daily basis for this launch, this could be the week, eeeek, more than anything I’m just excited to see the new frontend/backend and see what additional tools it adds to the ‘crypto’ and ‘blockchain’ message of running decentralised apps — I don’t know of any other brand or agency that has anything like reviewhunt out there that works directly with brands using a erc-20 token with the momentum that steemhunt has.

So today’s thought process. . ..

today’s video is simple, they are just some thoughts for makers (who make quests) to be thinking when they put together their quests for the first time (or over the next few months) for you to get the best value out of your marketing spend and to get some real value and ROI (return on investment) of putting your marketing spend into reviewhunt and get QUALITY responses out of the system. ..

Here are some thoughts. .. (I might have gone over it better in the video) and feel free to drop me a message if you need clarity or help!

quality of quests, useful content to the client, not spam

I really hope that we have quests there are not just click here, follow that, do this, that would be too much of a drain on marketing spend, I really want companies to ‘go to town’ on the quests — make people QUEST for what you need — be it research, details, forms, feedback — whatever you normally spend marketing budget on and you DON’T currently get to control the narrative is completely changeable here (in my opinion) — so go hardcore!

stretch the budget, think micro tasks!

I think you can get a lot of value out of your first month spend on the platform because you are going to have a lot of eager people that are going to want to not only EARN hunt tokens (for trading or even their own marketing, wow, think about that, earn to promote stuff too!) but are willing to put in a lot of hard work and hours to get you a result — evaluate the market place and see what other people are doing with quests, make yours a series of steps and adjust the price to suit, stretch that budget!

quests that include video!

Of course I’m bound to say this, I love video, I love making it and I love discussing with other people on camera, I’d love to do some kind of interactive video live streams with companies that they can use in some way as a quest, why not find advocates, remote workers, additional promotional people you can use on your team or get feedback from hunters about your product that you can stitch together responses and watch with your team — literally, anything is possible with a quest if you really think about it.

remixing similar assets contests

I’d love to see quests where the quest is to ‘deliver’ something — imagine you have a brand pack where you have your logo, graphics, audio, b-roll, etc but no storyboard and direction — how cool would it be to get back like 20 videos to step through about how people who make video see your company, that would be great for sharing on social media and it might also expose elements about your brand you never considered or even what to change to make it more accessible.

asking me anything (ama) style quests built from

Companies using quests to take questions from the community about their product and then using that quest information to form strategic social media content for the company, we get to the see the video and results on the steam blockchain, heck @steemhunt might even upvote it if it shows reviewhunt people used too (I love that about blockchain blogging, everything influences everything else!)

marketing value to companies bottom line (reporting) after 3 months.

I do hope that quests are seen as stepping stones to form bonds with a virtual advocacy network, people that won’t just take the HUNT and run but better than that companies with marketing spend finding people they want to work with and doing repeat business with — it would be fantastic for those companies to do transparent reporting after three months regarding the impact their quests have brought them, not enough companies do this in this space and it really needs to change, as marketing spend gets more strict if we know what is of value to a companies bottom line we can deliver more quality results for quests that have been set.

Alright, time for coffee and prepare myself for a WARM day/week ahead! That means plenty of shade and air cooling for me! :)
