Always be sidestepping adversity in favour of what makes you passionate!

Do what you love.

I’ve heard it a million times from influencers, I’ve probably said the same thing to some people in the past decade or more ago but i really meant it from the heart rather than some pinterest strapline or t-shirt statement.

My biggest switch off to the last time someone tried to play me was when i was in a city and asked to DEAL for my place in the community, it was purely power driven, manipulative, to be quiet, to keep things positive and to not expose flaws in the local creative quarter — after spending three years there i decided that it’s time had probably ran it’s course there.

Through all of that i still made videos with people i like and who had great companies on a daily/weekly basis in my studio, i got to know those people outside of business and often went drinking and eating together with them — the people component, face to face, not through a keyboard where people can often take on a second identity.

So far every one of the things i knew would happen with this platform i happened. I’ve seen it a million times before with startups, they run for two years, the money men come in, the service get’s shuttered a year later and the IP is spun into something else or just dissolved because it was in competition with someone else — same happened to me with me.dm and medium, i was paid to go away basically - in that business transaction however i was happy to take seven years and put a number that worked for me on it. It made sense to call it.

But never ever conform to outside thought to what you feel inside, never.

If you enjoy what you do, if you love what you do and you use it as therapy, to keep familiar with your tools, to keep your mind focused and busy, to just keep up a conversation or time management that’s cool too — remember all those times when you both said nothing on the phone line to each other because you were so full of love for the other person you could not find the words? Just me huh? :)

Don’t ever try to fit into a behaviour shift or culture change on the internet, the world is changing by the hour, soon to be the minute, make because it makes you feel good, maybe it’s the first time in your life you’ve ever made video — maybe your an introvert and you use video to start a conversation with others or to build confidence (if you do send me your links, I’ll comment to acknowledge you exist instead of having self doubt nobody cares!)

Alright, let’s get after this week! Feeling super up beat and positive again this Monday morning! I’m starting a brand new gig on Fiverr for honest reviews for products, maybe I’ll also start reviewing other dtube videos too!

Peace and Love
