As already mentioned, meta-title and keywords would take care of bots being able to catalog the page. A couple of other suggestions:
Variable buffering on the user end. I wouldn't mind waiting for a video to buffer 50% of the video if it didn't keep stopping once the video starts - that is just annoying.
Maybe not your project, but IPFS could make it much easier for people to set up nodes to boost the network throughput. Any distributed network needs seeds, and making it easy to set that up would be awesome.
Selectable video quality. If someone is just sitting in their home studio talking, or reading a report - then I don't need to see that in 720p.
