Going to college is part of the traditional flow for so many people. Today, we have watched student loans grow to record levels, and tuition has skyrocketed alongside this debt. Not coincidentally. There are a couple issues that are being experienced today that quite frankly should make people think twice before making a life altering decision.

I wish I had a crystal ball. I made mistakes. I didn't have any idea what kind of job I wanted or could get. I was a liberal arts major. Yes, it probably made getting a job easier for me... just having that diploma. But I had no plan. I now teach art and make jewelry and art. I want my son to have a plan before he goes in. Don't spend money on college with no money making plan.

American colleges are doing just as much harm as they do good. Students are over paying for degrees that will not help them land a job. Most students also borrow money to go to college and get stuck with un-dischargable debt. This debt will make buying a home, starting a family, buying a car, eating, and medical insurance all the more challenging. Please discuss your situation with a life coach.
