I am hitting my "retirement button", retirement submittal, this weekend. Because my original company was bought out, my pension has two options:
The lump-sum is from my original company which gives me the option of annuity or lump-sum. At least I also get medical coverage from my original company's plan no matter which option I choose.
I feel I am one of the lucky ones these days. About ten years ago, the company stopped offering any pension what-so-ever to new people. They just offer a 401-k match now.

yea its kinda bad here
we got a lot of new immigrants here draining the economy
im kinda worried about my dad as well
hes recently retired and he pretty much relies on his pension
not only that but not hes refinancing his home to buy a boat
my wealth is building exponentially now that i am actually learning about the economy
so hopefully ill be able to take care of all my family soon as they are all getting into massive debt

they think "weve been thru tough times b4"
well if they do the math they would know any issues the US has faced b4 is nothing compared to the current financial crisis
