It can be debated how far this is willfull action and how far it's just idiocy repeating itself through history. I guess some people have the historical background to know how this works and play on it, but I guess the majority is just useful idiots. No matter, there are things that needs to be done about it.
It's interesting how these terrorists miscalculate, they think we're weak enough to no take back, sooner or later. Must be part of the religion to brainwash themselves as they did in the era before the crusaders.
The western part of this is of course a postmodernistic variant of communism taking hold. Jordan B. Peterson (Canadian professor of psychology, with a focus on Jung, totalitarien regimes and archetypes through history) is an interesting man to follow on this area.
