Awesome news this morning, waking up to another HUGE @dtube update has made my day!
Looking forward to exploring all the new features and I'm really loving the new interface and upgrades!

A big step in the right direction and since DTube was sponsored with a lot of Steem I expect these buffering issues will go away. The first thing they did was get 2 more servers to speed up the encoding process for new uploads. The only feature I miss, and this is the one that will kill YT for me, is private or unlisted video. I use this feature to get written permission from bands/artists/composers to publish their stuff. If I get the OK, the video goes live, if not, it's removed without ever being visible to the public. Without this feature I can't use DTube exclusively yet as there is no delete function available that I know of. From a viewer's perspective things just got a whole lot better, yeehaw!

Yeah I see what you mean, it would be good to have an option for situations like that, especially as the site gets bigger I suppose copyrighting may become more of an issue. I’m fairly new as well but it’s definitely worth looking into! I think it has huge potential compared to YouTube, of course it’s still early days but the idea and direction the site is going in, really makes it something worth getting involved with!

I read that YouTube had an estimated 500 million user accounts in 2012, with just 566,000 user accounts on DTube/Steemit the potential for growth is huge. Since this platform is decentralized and not subject to advertiser manipulation, chances are that many video creators will at least try DTube in the next year or so. Greetings!

I would go to that park. I have been on discord on zappl channel, busy channel, and a couple other. People usually are really nice there. And there are a lot of things happening all the time. From live shows to contests and all that good stuff. But because it is so time consuming I have avoided a little bit to go there.
