Insta360 One

360 cameras have been around for awhile. It was a technology where the hardware development out paced that of the software. That has changed; companies like Insta360 and Rylo have release apps that can showcase the abilities of the 360 capture. With this software, it now possible shoot and reframe the shot in post, track subjects with smooth camera pans, stabilize footage, automatically remove the selfie stick, live stream 360 video, and even do a Matrix like bullet effect. With all this utility being unleashed by software, 360 cameras have gone from gimmick to game-changer.

This is a quick video shot with the Insta360 One. It was edited on iPhone 6 for camera position then imported to FCPX. I don't believe that DTube supports 3D video, so in the coming days, I'll create and post a 360 video on YT.
