My Second Steemit Vlog
Steemians - here comes my No. 2 Vlog - I have to apologize again for video and speech quality. I am simply not an anchorman or a stage diving rocker like @ned or @roelandp - I am not even skilled to produce videos but what I have to offer is my personal opinion on this platform!
I think - getting back to my starting mood a bit around positivity - we all are doing not bad - we do well, the community is existent, there is indeed help and solidarity amongst various groups and I am not as pessimistic as others towards the future of Steemit.com as part of the Steem Blockchain / Ecosystem.
As a community we are responsible that this platform succeeds - we can not rely on Steemit Inc and only on Witnessess - it is all our task to make this place a fun place to be which then also enables community members to get rewareded for their content!
Ongoing quality discussions
I see a lot of posts and chats discussing what should be considered as good or bad quality. No one here can judge this - on this platform however it is the community that judges it - that is the way it is. We could obviously get into a holistic discussion that maybe a post of minimum 1,000 words guarantees quality, we can also agree that one photo (without text) by one of the great apps on this blockchain is no quality (but - this is the wrong way!). Everyone has their own definition on quality and added-value - hence as a community we should focus on engaging, fun and NOT atacking others based on their eventually different definition of quality content.
In a nutshell: The Content quality is ok and who the hell defines what is good! ? There are way too many discussions on that.

Sehr guter Vlog Uwe, Du hast recht der Freigeist muss unbedingt bei Steemit erhalten bleiben. Kann nicht sein das es so eine Art Geschmackspolizei gibt, du darfst das nicht, so muss es sein und so weiter......... Wird gleich resteemed :-)

I am also complaining about bots and I just wrote today about my doubts of the flagging system, I can still absolutely agree with you. The atmosphere in my opinion is good. The community seems to me to work pretty strong together. I think the best we all can do against trash content and spammers is ignoring. It's hard for some egos I know but even negative recognition is something worth for those people. If they won't earn any recognition at all most of them will give up after some time.

Sagen wir mal so, noch geht es ruhig und anständig zu hier zu, wenn aber die "Vielgeldmachen für sinnlosen content meute" D.tube entdeckt, wirds hier auch nerviger werden (ich hoffe mal das es nicht passiert!).

Hey, ich seh das genauso wie Du. Spaß ist, was wir draus machen und die Plattform bietet hier eine sehr gute Grundlage. Ich halt mich aus den ganzen Diskussionen gerne raus, weil sie leider sehr schnell ins persönliche abdriften und das der Sache gar nicht zuträglich ist.
Ich hoffe, die Leute erkennen, dass es auch in ihrer Verantwortung liegt, was aus Steemit wird. Gegen Unkraut (Spam) kann man häufig nicht viel machen. Ausser vielleicht Steamcleaners oder was auch immer. Ich ignorier den Mist ganz gediegen und fahre damit sehr gut. ;)
