Despite -14.5 Celsius and some stiff winds, we ventured out to into the tundra to take advantage of Winterfest. The severe temperatures and risk of frostbite seemed to extinguish the numbers toward the middle of the afternoon which left us with the rink almost to ourselves.
Here, you get to strap razor sharp blades to your feet, scare some little girls, and try not to wipe out extraordinarily. Did I succeed or will you get to take a spill over the short boards right onto your lid with me? Guess you have to click and see.

Skating is so exhausting! BUT I'd love to do it again. Haven't done it in ages.. you're a great skater! I would have struggled not to fall all the time :D

I used to skate a lot when I was in high school .... I haven’t since high school , but I took my daughter ice skating last week and I tried to get on the ice ... but it wasn’t anywhere as easy as I remembered it .... needless to say I didn’t stay on the ice too long ... lol
