I love seeing the drawing process, how it all comes to life when more and more details are added. Almost make me feel I could do it too. Wonderful picture. :)

I know, timelapses make it look so easy, while in reality, it is hours'-worth work of not letting the brush slide in the wrong way. 😄
But it is true in a way - everyone can do it, once they really really want to.
I'm all about the process, I believe, when you find joy in it, you're going to succeed!

Love that the kitty has just one goal - "Need to get the fluffy object in Kate's hand"! Wonderful video - it is so awesome that you can create drawings/paintings like that and gift them to people! Thumbs up! :)

Thanks so much!
Well, to be honest, not the best painting I've done, but for an illustration of a car (!) I'm happy! 😄
I don't even mind her little paws intervening, as long as she doesn't touch the wet paper. Her presence is always considered a blessing to the creative process.

Damn, I love that car, (former and recovering car nut) and everything else in this video!

That car is so beautiful! Really, a mix of Swedish functionality & Italian class.
Have you seen the wagon? Windshield in the back - all glass!

No, its a rare car, stateside, and I doubt they exist in China.

I'm an absolute believer that any car that can last over 1,000,000 miles has to be a great car!

They don't build them like that anymore.

Planned obsolescence be damned!

Yes, the fact that a lot of retro cars are working fine and rolling (sometimes with very little tweaking and tinkering) just proves the point. Ah, the nostalgia!

Do you drive?

That would be an awesome video to watch, I marvel at women drivers. Even if they don't always drive so well. :) My sister ran over so many cats (by accident of course) that I lost track, and her sense of direction, I got used to going around in circles.

Hahaha, I don't have a license yet. I plan to get one, though, when I'll have more time on my hands.
Oh my, I couldn't bear the lives of kitty cats on my conscience. I'll be super careful then. 😄

Wow very beautiful. The good gift is the gift that you create with your own hand your father will love it :)

Aw, thank you so much, Anne!
I agree, I always appreciate handmade gifts myself. Something about that personal touch!

I love that you gift art. It's such a beautiful and personal thing. I'm sure you're dad will love the painting! The car came out well. I love having little things that I don't often paint to practice on. Which reminds me how much I have recently missed painting. I just haven't had the right space to set myself up. Here's to hoping something presents soon! Also I love your shirt.😋

Thanks! I think anything made by one's hands is of special value, as the hands seem to emit most energy.
I imagine it must be a bit harder to find a time to sit down and paint, as there's so much excitement over everything around you. But it must be so magical as well - having created something that will for ever remind you of that place you were in. 😊
