in dtubedaily •  7 years ago

Hello dear friends!

Here's the 26th video of my @DTubeDaily series

A walkthough of my home studio and some lighting tips

Today I took a break from making music and decided to show you my home studio, and also reveal how I make the lighting of my videos, which has received great critics.

Be sure to listen to yesterday's jam, a very dark and fast broken beat techno

If you have any questions about music production, or how do I record my jams, or anything to do with the lighting, feel free to ask on the comments! :)

Gear used:

Nikon D3300
Cheap LED lights from the chinese store.

Come back every day for a new episode!

One of my next investments. Right now I live off the sunlight which you can't control like a light system. Some days just ain't great.

Hey Todd! I think for filming yourself you would need some kind of light diffusor since the LED lights are pretty hard. This is why I can achieve the rest of the dcene almost dark. Let's say these LEDs would be too focused on one point. But if you could improvise a diffusor with a sheet of paper wrapped in the light. :)

Nice!!! Good tips here brotha :)

Cheers my man thanks a lot for the love!

great video man love the room i'm now starting to get into music i mostly do art and animation i'm only getting into music so i can do everything myself

Thanks a lot my friend! Feel free to ask when you have questions about music production :) I would love to do animated music videos for my music one day!

bob marley isnt actually there bro

Its always great to see other peoples setup. Maybe you should look into some DIY soundproofing. I don't know what the room sounds like but it makes a difference to treat the room a little.
