Why Don't We Let Others See Our Video Edits? 🤔 | DTUBE QUICKIE

in dtubedaily •  7 years ago

Hey SteemSquad and DTubeNation!

Why don't we show each other our video edits for feedback before we publish online?

Please say hi! I'd love to meet everyone on here and talk about cryptos and life

Have a lovely day and hope you join me on this epic journey #GoSteem

I think it's because each person's style is often unique so it's difficult to critique that stuff. One man's trash is another man's treasure you know? There might be some technical things with regards to color grading or sound design that could be critiqued but it's harder I think to judge the content.....at least for me.

Yeah, but also certain people are better at certain things. If we seeked out information from them in that speciality, we all benefit

Then you would know how "fail" some of my food actually comes out...who wants to see that? hahah.

I DO, ALPHA! Show me the wreckage

My best feedback was from you when you told me to take off my glasses. So I kept them on. :D :D :D

Second was @liveyourdream - probably super busy - he told me he liked when I said "and we're live." so I stuck with it.

You are living Dlife right now. If you take those glasses off too many times it will show all the sounds you purged on Steemit. Don't think anyone is ready for that.

I guess the more you do it the better you get at doing videos and editing etc, but ultimately I love being in control and making all the decisions myself :P

Sounds Tanbaylievable

Bloopers hmm...

edit the bloopers out before sending ;)

I just checked a random selection of my ~50 page scripts and a 282 page novel type thing in LibreOffice are all under 1Mb. For images your raw file might be pretty large due to layers (one of mine is 80+ Mb) but it's easy enough to take a screenie (ends up <1Mb again XD) and shoot it to someone.

Videos tend to be a little bit larger than that and a bit harder to send to people for critique XD I suppose you could just render out at lower quality or even short sections at low quality if you wanted feedback or feedback on a specific part. Maybe we're just too impatient for that as you can pretty much instantly shoot a text document or a screenie at someone but rendering might take 5min for a quickie and ain't nobody got time for dat? XD

I'm not sure if my opinion counts though seeing as currently I'm only doing process videos if anything.

Yeah, I guess that's something to think about. We have grown into a generation of wanting everything so quickly
