Hey hey hey! This whole d-tube journey opened up a love for making videos and photography and I just went on a tangent. I film pretty much every day and take pictures every day but I don't upload anywhere and I'm happy about that. I didn't give up on dtube it's that dtube opened up a love I didn't even know I had. So it's a total success for me. After I took a break I see clearly how discord servers can take a lot of time away from other priorities so I just want to make sure I don't dip into that world again. It's all about communicating on the blockchain anyways. lol Glad to see you're doing well ma man.

I speak for myself when I say that sometimes I have high standards for myself and what I choose to create. Sometimes my self esteem kinda comes crashing down and I feel like I suck and I can’t create quality content and it’s a spiral that just keeps going and going lol

I resonate with what you said about making videos for yourself, and how steemit is like a secret community that is outside of your circle IRL (same is true for me). Personally, I have been inactive on the discord channel because some personal shit going through a breakup. Although I have never stopped making videos, because like you said, it is something that I just love to do and like you said as well, I don't do it for anyone else. However, I really have always appreciated the DtubeDaily community and the real genuine friendships I have made with some people.

Keep pushing through, when I was going through the break up the best thing Id id was keep mkaing videos and listening to Gary Vee. Whatever happened would've happened and you can't think of the alternatives, just the future. Chat to me anytime, man!

It's not DTube Daily! It's the likes of Bernadette Flagalicious that pissed me off bad enough to go elsewhere. I don't need the aggravation of dealing with the B.S. and lies on this platform where you have to be a cheerleader to get anywhere, or be a whale who upvotes himself with 14 bots. They took down the view counter so people couldn't question 28 upvotes on 6 views. Me? I'm making more and better videos than ever. Have a good one Kev! Enjoy the show.

Hey Kev these were my thoughts exactly. I have never stopped posting.. I just keep learning from my former filming mistakes and trying to better myself. I love creating content. I am here because I love making videos. As far as Daily goes I donated SP to them for 2 months and never.. not even once did I get a vote back.. or a response from a member. So I revoked my SP and gave it to OneLove because they actually support me and give a two way street. I may only have a rep of 59 but that is in just a couple of months. Its only up from here as I get more confident with each and every edit. It is a real shame about DDaily because I would have invested a whole lot of time over there. I did try for about 3 weeks.. but always just felt as an outsider.. and never once as I mentioned had any support in return. I mean would you give SP to people who dont ask how you are, and ignore you if your in the chat saying hello? Of course not. And I wouldnt expect you to. Lastly Daily has many Vegans and it seems like if your not one you get ostracized. You either have to be male, a vegan, or married with a husband who helps you run your channel/edits for you.. to get a how do you do in there. Just my 0.002 cents. Not that they mean much because apparently I am an out cast. That is fine by me however. I will just draw strength from it and use it to fire my passion for creating.

Yo it took me like 2 and half months to get to rep level 60, so good on ya! As far as the delegation, that sucks. You should've messaged a few people about it or put it in the public discord.
I've had my fair share of bad discord moments as well.

Kevin, you are right about the need to enjoy what you are doing in order for it to last long term. The money is nice and is a good motivator to some degree, but if you are not passionate about the creation process and about adding value to others, then burn out mode is inevitable.

Yeah I have seen a lot of people just vanish from steemit and dtube over this year, not just in DD but all over. It is hard work as you know to do this everyday and it may not be for everyone, which is fair enough, I don't always have that much time to be an active member after getting everything else done. Steemit and dtube just suit me at the moment and I will continue. Money is a motivator but not the main motivator. I know what you mean about not having an audience of people you know making it easier to make some content. I think I would have been way to self conscious to start all this on youtube when I started. Cheers

I think you sum it up that life gets in the way sometimes, this its home for me. New job is the sole reason I slipped into inactivity. Now i've got my head together with that and I'm back on it :)

I heard in the discord that it's not even called dtubedaily anymore?
Which is why I've stopped using the dtubedaily tag, and I still don't know what the deal is with, why one day I went in and a whole bunch of people now have different coloured nics. I seem to be out off the loop.
