Looking forward to hear some of your thoughts.

If it goes down to $0.05 then I would be even money on what I have left.

I would dance naked all day if I would see steem around price you've mentioned. Finally I would be a whale haha

Not gonna mention any names but I know this well respected Steem whale that sold his house to become a Steem whale. He bought most of his Steem at the $6.00 level. Even though I know that the market will eventually recover I still feel bad for him.

holy shitt this is pretty depressing thing to hear, i guess he'll need to wait a bit longer for market to recover.
I think noone expected so bad situation to come but eventually we'll get there. To be honest i thought that probably all whales became one in the early stage...
Thanks for the info, makes me think twice after making financial decision...

Nope not all whales have been here that early. If you do a bit of research you can see when they've bought in most of their SP.

But he had a chance to pull something out when steem reached 8 dollars

😱

The majority were complaining and talking about failure at the time. Emotionless trading is key.

Start dancing! Steem is about a half a dollar right now. It was once near $9.00 which means it could go there again. If you bought $10,00 worth of steem now and it goes to $9.00, you will have $160,00

A word of caution - if you borrow the money and it goes the other way, you loose the ten and are in a hole. I only invest what I am able to lose.without feeling bad about it. Don't borrow 10k for steem. Not now. Not even if it goes to 0.05.

Yeah, but at least i would know i've tried, although I do agree that people shouldn't invest everything they've worked for, but 10k dollars ain't something that big that could potentionally turn my life upside down.
I like to think that way and maybe i'm wrong.
To be honest, i don't know which scenario would be worst.
Not investing in something you believe in (and the train passes away), or investing in something you used to believe that goes terrible.

Thanks for a tip :D
