As the title says, I want to share on my perception about this poll that was done by @bobaphet. Majority of the voters voted for 3 mins long vlogs for DTube which I think is a fair amount of time. If you haven't watched his input, then do go over to his page, @bobaphet for more. Here is my take on the subject. What's Yours?

Yes! My hubs and I discussed this a while back.. and it’s true people do watch the shorter ones more and it’s also why dtubesnaps took off so well! Hehe but more than one minute gives some extra depth too.

Yes, it's about quality and value of the video I think, and if you can produce a shorter video with more quality and value, then it's better for everyone.

When making a video I think that it's prudent to get to the point and then stop. However, for a vlog, you're just talking about everyday stuff so it can go a bit longer.
3 minutes is about the best time because it means that more people are willing to watch and they can watch more vlogs in their video viewing time.
My last video was longer than 3 minutes because I needed to make a point and I couldn't really condense it down much more. But I will endeavour to keep my videos around the 3 minute mark in the future. I want to bring a lot of value to the DTube community. Also, I should add that my last video 'The Death Of Steem' is meant as satire of the panic merchants.

Lol, I love click baits, they sell. I also do think 3-7mins vlogs is an ideal length. 30 mins vlogs already throw me off even before I begin watching. Max 15 mins.

Greetings @elsiekjay .. I do agree , should be straight to the point , but in my experience there are also circumstances that I need to go longer than 5 mins just to get the full point in some events like my 2 last videos.

3 - 7 Mins is a good length I'd say. Most people on the poll however voted 3 mins as the ideal lenth. I do also go over board sometimes
