When someone pisses you off to the point that you want to beat the shit out of them. Or, worse yet, to kill them. It's time to take a step back and recognize two problems inherent in the path of reactionary violence.
- Newton: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
a. cause begets effect
b. actions have consequences - Karma: as intended, so received
a. intention and action create results, some good and some bad
b. Newtonian physics can be applied to humanity
#Dudes, in this reality, the best punishment anyone could give is no punishment.
The transgressor will think they've gotten away with something and likely never realize that their shitty life is a testament to their shitty actions.
This aggression will not stand, man.
Why should you deny yourself the joy of watching them continue down the path of anger? Now, one might think that enjoying someone else's anger would be tantamount to signing up for a karmic dose of what goes around comes around. And, you'd be right. Taking joy in watching someone else walk the path of destruction sets karma on its own terrible path. Maybe it's better to briefly acknowledge the potential for enjoyment, and then to quickly move onto the next subject so the karmic doomsday clock doesn't laughingly tick into the "payback's a bitch" minute.
