for all the eagle fans out there, a steller's sea eagles flies over pack ice in japan's sea of okhotsk.this species migrates from the Kamchatka peninsula in winter to feed in the abundant herring population that gathers beneath the sea ice.

theses gorgeous birds are categorized as vulnerable by the IUCN but , in japan, they are protected as a ' national treasure ' . through conservation efforts like this , we can reverse our impacts on the environment , and protect our world for future generations.
