Sometimes a picture really can say it all.

If we lost our molten core and the resultant magnetic fields, we too like mars could lose our atmosphere and with it most of our water.

Being dead and vegetation less with nothing to fill our oceans the planet would be pretty stark.

Looking at the size of the cube, the water we have isn't that much anyway.

You can get more details on how that water is divided up from wait but why

I saw a movie on this.
They put all the water behind a huge dam
and controlled everyone through water rationing.

Of course, this only counts the above ground, liquid water, and ignores any water being currently created.

I remember that one, from way back.

hello sir visit my id thanks

What is that movie?

I believe it was Solarbabies

Thank you!

Sounds pretty pessimistic. However, everything has its end. But I hope by that time people will be flooded with other planets more livable.

Let’s hope we don’t lose our molten core. This is very educative, how then can we save our planet from loosing its molten core?

Not likely to happen anytime soon, humans would be long gone by then.

I assume that’s good then ..

You can see on the first glance that this cube is way too small.

It is also interesting to note that there is a moon, called Europa, of Jupiter that contains twice the water here on Earth.

More about Europa and the possiblity of life there

Nice post @gavvet.
