Three Countries Show How Close We Are to a Totally Green Grid

This development is essential to ultimately achieve decarbonisation of the transport sector (still the largest consumer or primary fossil fuels). However, this can only be achieved by sector coupling and finally the move torwards an H2 economy. If not H2 economy then a battery economy (which I do not like so much because the battery lifecycle is definitely not environmentally friendly). Many ideas and opportunities ahead of us, yet commercial viability is often an issue.

One thing I find most conspicuous by its absence in almost all of these environmental discussions is the pollution generated by the military. What volumes do they produce? What regulations, if any, are there to deal with or even monitor military pollution? And what about the space industry?
