Black Panther she stalked him hidden deep in shadow
How dare he shine confident while she suffered hollow
Squinting eyes full of doubt and fear, green with envy
Guilt building to seek evidence of a pure innocent faerie
Stirring her cauldron she brewed poison disguised
Her plan to feel better meant manipulating his eyes
Not a gift but a sinister plan, hidden agenda for sure
Fed him empty nights while sewing dresses to lure
Attention starved he lusted, he'd do anything to please
Even if that meant allowing her nightmare to succeed
So he raped her, became the panther, dangerous, weak
She felt wanted now, triumphant, but too frightened to speak
Her esteem a dark shiny secret blade in scabbard concealed
His virtue broken gave her power and permission to steal
The townsfolk they hurried to his bloody side in haste
Who would do such a thing? So the panther they chased
Rhythm compassion played on panther hide drum
And on wings of forgiveness the faerie song sung
