Hello! I went back to the little café I wrote about here, I decided to return because I liked it so much last time!
I'm not a swimmer, and I don't like the sun when it's really hot and intense, but I do love the beach, I prefer sitting by the water and listening to the wave sounds because I find it so relaxing. I like visiting beach towns because the atmosphere is really inviting and relaxing in my opinion.
This day I happened to go when it was very busy, usually busy cafes used to make me feel really anxious but I've felt more comfortable with that lately, the older I get the less I care about that (sometimes lol).
I went with a friend and she got this really nice looking decaf latte. She enjoyed it! I don't think she got any syrups or flavouring in it, so it's just a regular latte. I love the foam art on it, I'd love to try do that one day. Maybe there's a kit online? haha.
I got this decaf vanilla iced frappe! I did get this same drink last time I visited, I think this time I enjoyed it more because It was really hot and the nice icy drink felt like a relief! I also really like the mason jar (?) cup they use. I have a few at home but I don't use them often enough!
I love this drink, I'm still obsessed with the vanilla drink flavouring! It just feels so fresh and sweet, the perfect balance.
Both me and my friend got this sticky toffee cake piece each, it was really soft and delicious. Whenever I go out to cafes and I get a sweet treat (usually a slice of cake or something like that) it really makes me wish I could bake. I'm sure I could, but I just don't. Maybe I should? I think it's the washing up process after that puts me off. I found a nice simple brownie recipe recently so I'll try that- I'll make a post about it!
I then had half of this carrot cake! I love carrot cake SO MUCH it's my favourite! This was really soft and the cream on top was really tasty and not overpowering at all, I'm looking forward to getting it again next time.
All together this cost around 75 STEEM (£12.50) I think!
Thank you for reading! What's your favourite cake? :)
