Why I got Banned from Ebay ...

in ebay •  7 years ago

I opened an account on ebay last week to start selling my old Sapphire RX470 8GB miners
I have 6 GPU's that I wanted to sell. After taking many pictures of the GPU and providing detailed description
of my sales items, I went ahead and published my listing. After just a few minutes of listing
I received an email from eBay that my account has been indefinitely suspended. I was puzzled by the
suspension. After navigating though the FAQs I figured out a way to contact eBay support via telephone.
The support person that answered did not really give me a reason why my account was suspended but
my account dot re-instated after she verified some basic information about what I was selling and how I was
going to ship my items. I then went on and re-listed my GPU... got a bid for it and a week later sold and received
payment for my item. I then shipped the item on a very timely manner.

Today I checked my eBay account and got the same suspension letter again.
I once again called the support to find out why my account got indefinitely suspended.
Again I was not given the reason why my account was suspended but this time they refused to
re-instate my account. I was very confused because I did not know what I did wrong.
I was told that I am no longer allowed to sell or buy on eBay. I was never told what in their policy I violated.
It would be nice if eBay would tell me what I did wrong so it can be corrected.

I am wondering if there are any other people that had a similar experience with eBay and was enyone
successful in getting their account re-instated.

You might try reaching out to the Ebay Business Facebook account as they can be more helpful than the folks on the phone. Good luck and I hope you get everything resolved.

thanks for the advice I will give that a try
