E-Coin is a decentralized and proof-of-stake algorithm based. Some say do not buy ECN coin, even though it went up by almost 1500% in one day and they may be right. It's not just the percentage but more the volume a certain coin is getting on the exchanges. And also on what exchanges it's listed.
