SYSTEM OF WANTS

in economic •  7 years ago

An entanglement of wants is a system of wants. Any economic good always points at some other economic good through the process of diminishing need. Also every want connects a good to a need: any insatiable need leads to some deficient good only to reiterate the progression repeatedly with an ever new different concreteness. Along such course of development, the goods reside in a hierarchy of goods outlined by a system of wants and the mode of their consumption.
