If politicians were consistent, that would be one thing. On one hand they recognize that raising wages for immigrant workers will reduce the number of those workers hired. However, they pretend not to recognize that raising the minimum wage for workers in general won't do the same thing.
To all politicians who advocate raising the minimum wage saying that it helps workers, I have a question. Why is it that minimum wage laws do not create unemployment for fast food workers but do so for immigrant workers from India? I won’t hold my breath waiting for an answer.
