I hate to say it, :-) , but I consider the video you have included to be nothing more than very clever propaganda in support of the "religion" of Keynesian economics. In my opinion you would do well to consider Austrian economics as an antidote to the delusion that central banks are anything other than privately owned by psycopaths. it has been that way ever since the days of Babylon when the issuance of money comes under the control of private psychopaths.

the video was just a resource I included from globaldebtclock.org, which is where I checked for the data to include on my post. Will consider to read about Austrian economics.
Edit:grammar.

Sometimes I like to watch the US National Debt Clock to see what's happening, if I understand it correctly it looks like they are reducing the money supply, but I could be wrong, since it is somewhat confusing.

It is confusing because its very embarrassing to describe it in layman terms.
Non sustainable, by any means.

What is your opinion of the gold standard?

That is something for the elite since I have no gold to have an opinion...
:)

I see we have a similar price on both our heads!

We do don't we. Exactly what I was surprised to notice whilst making the list.

It would be interesting to know what Greece's was before the recession.

20 billion compared to 314 billion now. Regulations are really working out it seems. All those economic geniouses are out of their way with Greece's Debt. in comparison 314 billion could potentially had fund like 15 International Space Stations, or 13 Large Haldron Collider projects.

Pakistan and India...way to go.

The interest on Danish Treasury bonds have been negative for periods since 2008. We have earned money on lending! Investors found it a safe haven so they paid to lend money out...
