Read an interesting article by ZeroHedge regarding the continuing war on cash (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-15/financial-martial-law).

When it comes to promoting the usage of debit/ credit cards and avoiding cash payment, I keep noticing further "incentives" provided by the private sector.

One of them is, when you buy a ticket online or via ticket mashine, you will spend less money (around 5%) than when you buy it at a counter.

The official explanation is, that the company wants to avoid people standing in lines and cut employment costs.

However, it seems that one of the aims is to get people used to online payments.

The war on cash is a silent one and keeps moving forward. Although, I would study what happened in India, because we could be exposed to something very similar.
