The Biden administration and apparently most democrats think they can fool us into believe our economy and high inflation rates are not hurting us as bad as we think. But we all know the incredible increase in the cost of living the past 1.5 years, and the loss of value in our savings and investments for retirement is hurting our present and future economic well being.
Biden (and more importantly, his handlers calling the shots) want us to believe that low U3 unemployment rates, but those unemployment rates do not include those who have given up hope of finding a job. Many millions of Americans that were forced out of their jobs by the "covid forced shutdowns" by state and local governments have given up hope of getting a job. Also, millions that have gotten used to government checks without working are still getting them or waiting for the next series of government checks.
The United States Labor Force Participation Rate shown above shows that many millions of Americans working before 2020 are no longer working, which contributes to some of the drop in GDP the last two quarters.
The damage done by the forced government shut downs and the federal government's attempts to reduce its harm by dumping trillions of dollars it does not have into our money supply has been greater than I expected, and I was pessimistic.
