Pund falls because of not raising interest rates

Pound today has dropped nearly one-cent to the dollar, as the Central Bank of England (BoE) governor has said it is not the moment of raising interest rates.

British currency fell to the lowest one week low of $ 1,2669 from $ 1,2758, after Governor Mark Carney's statement that poor profit growth and mixed personal spending and business investment signals are the reason for not raising the rate of Interest at the moment
