What is the greatest conspiracy theory that no one talks about!

in ecotrain •  6 years ago  (edited)

We live in an age of information and ever more conspiracy theories. Throughout history we have always had conspiracy theories, but we didn't have the Internet! Therefore we used to rely on good luck to find these great theories out. Nowadays we have access to them all, the truth along with the wild fantasies! We will of course never know for sure what is fact and what is fiction, and that is what drives us to keep seeking the truth. What is interesting to me is that what I would call one of the greatest conspiracy theories is never really mentioned. No one talks about it, even though it is clearly the elephant in the room! What am i talking about, read on!

So what is the greatest conspiracy theory yet?

The greatest conspiracy theory is the theory that has the most impact on us as a civilization, and individually as human beings. If we can understand the thing that has the most impact on us as individuals, the thing that shapes our thoughts and actions, then we have found the gold, and we have found a key that can be used to unlock and reveal the mask and the mysteries behind life.

There are more important things than knowing if the government is hiding things from us, or if we have been duped by the system. There are more important questions to be asked! It is when we take a step back, and look within that we start to find the real conspiracy going on!

Have you ever noticed how your own mind can f*ck with you? You can have a word on the tip of your tongue, you know you know what it is, and yet it cannot be found. Then suddenly when you have stopped trying to remember it, it jumps into your head totally randomly. Have you ever noticed how there seems to be 'someone else' managing your whole perspective and outlook on the world. We all create our own stories and inner dialog, and we shape our view of the world based on our own thinking, assumptions and perspective. That perspective is also influenced in a big way by our environment, but just how much of our view of the world is actually real?

Have you ever noticed how some people who are in a toxic relationship cannot see it? Their friends may see it, and even tell them, but still they cannot see it. This happens in a myriad of other ways, and is part of human nature. We have to interpret our world based on our own thinking, and when we WANT a certain outcome then we inevitably start to think in favour of our desires. And if that means ignoring that fact that all the signs are there that someone is being cheated on, or convincing yourself that if you wait a bit longer something will change because you can feel the luck coming, then ignore it we shall!

And so we arrive at the doorway to the greatest conspiracy theory yet. Denial! The act of denial is one of the most prevalent and ignored conspiracy theory's ever known, perpetrated by ourselves on ourselves. We have an incredible ability to convince ourselves of whatever we need to believe to hold our perspective of the world in place. Our mind needs to hide things from our consciousness to keep our Ego safe, so that we can live an illusionary life of being separate from each other. This is the program that we have been fed, and as human beings we believe and comply. Most of us have convinced ourselves that we are powerless because we are told that we are. We tell ourselves that we have to vote because its the right thing to do to preserve democracy, because we are hypnotized into believing this. In a way, most of our core beliefs are based on a hypnotic story that we have been fed and we use denial to perpetuate it.

In order to break out from this hypnotism we have to be very brave! We have to be willing to admit that maybe everything we know about the world and ourselves may not be quite so! We have to be willing to admit that we may not even know who we really are, and that everything we have come to regard as normal, or acceptable could be turned on its head or even made irrelevant!

The Buddha is famous for laughing. The laughing Buddha is able to laugh at almost anything. Have you ever wondered why the Buddha is able to laugh at everything? He is not crazy, and he has great compassion for all life! The Buddha knows something that many do not know, and that knowledge is his perspective of the world. Would Buddha smile at someone's concern about poverty and homelessness? He would! Would Buddha laugh at people very worried about climate change? He would! When we can understand why Buddha is able to smile and remain blissful in any situation, then we have understood the greatest conspiracy theory yet.

"The Buddha sees the juxtaposition and the contradiction of the unenlightened and enlightened states. From this vantage point the world of samsara, maayaa, and avidyaa has the appearance of a comedy as the Buddha looks back upon the folly of the unenlightened and `laughs’ in the exalted sense of sita. This is the gist of the view that prevailed among the Buddhist scholastics, and has persisted by and large throughout the Buddhist world since." (source)

So I think you have your answer, even though i didn't exactly spell it out! There is little point in doing so, since these answers lie within ourselves just waiting to be discovered! We are SO powerful, creative and strong. We can accomplish whatever we set our minds and our hearts on. There is no conspiracy greater than our own denial of our very essence, our very nature, our soul and who we really are.

LYRICS

I leave you with the lyrics of an old favorite song by THE THE called 'Slow Emotion Replay'.

The more I see, the less I know
About all the things I thought were wrong or right
And carved in stone
So, don't ask me about, war, religion, or God
Love, sex or death because

Everybody knows what's going wrong with the world
But I don't even know what's going on in myself

You've gotta work out your own salvation
With no explanation to this earth we fall
On hands and knees we crawl
And we look up to the stars and we reach out and pray
To a deaf, dumb and blind God who never explains

Every body knows what's going wrong with the world
I don't even know what's going on in myself

Every body knows what's going wrong with the world
But I don't even know what's going on in myself

Every body knows what's going wrong with the world
I don't even know what's going on in myself

This whole article is literally a process I am in. I seek knowledge and truth about everything, always looking externally for 'truth', knew about practically every conspiracy out there, jumped onto this band wagon, then came off it, then the next one, then came off it, until probably about a year ago my mind really started to crack, all this seeking and trying to maintain the pressures of everyday life. Working as a manager, trying to become financially stable, trying to eat the right food's and trying to find answers to satisfy my cravings of the mind. I think my mind just collapsed on it'self about 6 months ago and I quit work. It's been a bit of a whirl wind since then and a painful process of unravelling my self once again. The first time from the main stream program we grow up in and into seeking truth, and this time around unravelling from all that truth i found because it did not bring much understanding. Just more confusion and more frustration because of the lack of understanding, information is not knowledge. I did not plan for this to happen I just could not function at work anymore, this process just sort have started to happen it self when i allowed my self some time just to breathe and just be.

Layers of my self have been peeling off, as well as relationships, habits, and it's a ridiculously painful process. But much understanding is coming from looking into my self, those lyrics are spot on! I have a long way to go but i think i am making progress. I hope so anyway!

Great post.

well done.. CONGRATS to you for waking up.. and being brave .. it will all make sense in time, but these Huge transitions take many years to integrate and move on from..

next step.. get self sufficient! ;=_)

Already on it ;)

Interesting post @eco-alex. I look inside for truth but outside for encouragement with positive post to remind myself that I am in charge, I create my reality, I have the power to change.

Just remember there are flat earthers all over the Globe heh. Shalom🕎

haha... toda

You never got to the point in this article.
To me, you never tied together the pieces.

It would probably be easier to make the point from "modern materialistic science". Or, the strict belief that only matter is real. Or scientism.

Of course, anyone who has really gone inside and found the connection with all things knows that scientism is completely wrong.

Perception changes reality. We are not mere observers of fixed and physical world. The world responds to our perceptions and our desires.

What we need to understand most as spiritual beings is where our focus is placed. What are the stories running through our heads?

If the story is that we are always betrayed by our love interest, than we will never see the signs that the person is not loyal. We will instead be blinded to all of those tell-tale signs. Right up to the point where things are big enough to BLAM, get totally betrayed.

(if you have this story running through your mind, you need to see it, find it, search it out and heal it. It is probably an echo from your childhood, where you were betrayed at 0 or 5 yrs old. In other words, you have been looking for partners to work out the issue you suffered as a child)

i think the point was most people live in denial.. the details of which are quite simple but could be a post in its own right...

i would say science is just limited thats all.. when you go inside and then you go beyond the mind and there all the answers lye!

But yeah, Denial// that is the message here!

Denial is such a huge act of defence and survival that so many believe they have to put into play in order to thrive, but in doing so locked themselves away from their true self and true potential. great song I will have to check it out xxxx

Masses are ignorant of the truth. No one can deny what he doesn't know in the first place. Even if they knew, it would take time to believe and act upon that knowledge. It is difficult to accept what defied thousands of years worth of conditioning even if it was the ultimate truth.

Fully in agreement. And if you want some tools on how to fight this particular conspiracy, David Snyder is a great place to start.
