Learning is a process of retrieving knowledge. It denotes as the activity that involves the technique of organizing different modes of thinking to get an easy access to valuable learning that is mostly used by experts, such as art, music, math, science and many other disciplines. The technique is, of course, relating to the brain work that uses two learning modes and how it receives information. In doing so, we also need to cover illusion of learning, and dealing with memory techniques as the effective way to help us teach them a subject. It requires a concentration or focused and time in which allow our mind to wander. Learning cannot be forced as it will lead students to diffused in result they deal with the problem of learning. So, allow their mind to take a break, meditate, try to think other things. As teachers, we try so many ways to create effective learning in the classroom. It is considered as the important matter that leads successful learning. Anytime the students learn, they required a how to learn. Students need to be introduced the knowledge that involves the subject, such mathematics or history and knowledge about how learning works well for teaching-learning activity. We used to teach them a concrete or usual information such as names, numbers, date, and facts. This information will go the right way if we don't offer a guidance on the act of learning that is known as the meta-cognitive aspect.

Learning how to learn is as important as teaching the subject and the way to promote the lifelong learning process as it allows students to become individual learners. It will not happen if the teachers do not teach them the best way to learn and lead to the low-achieving students show “substantial deficits” in their awareness of the cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies that lead to effective learning—suggesting that these students’ struggles may be due in part to a gap in their knowledge about how learning works.

First, survey and priming, this involves scanning a book or the syllabus of a course, for example, to get a general idea of the bigger picture. Second, observe an example. Then, do it yourself and finally, do it again and again in different context. As a teacher, we have learned a lot how to apply the strategies of how learning to our students. We know the ways in which we can make our students feel like they have “learned” a concept will then be followed by practical learning. For example, looking at a solution and thinking that you know how to arrive at that solution is one of the most common illusions of competence in learning. Highlighting or underlining are also techniques that often lead to this illusion of learning. On the other hand, brief notes that summarize keys concepts are much more effective.

Learning is a way to improve the skill of our students in which they can achieve a substantial subject. It can lead to two positive awareness, cognitive and meta-cognitive. That awareness directed a mastery individual knowledge of the competencies, skill, and qualification. It insists an individual to know and understand the preference learning strategies.
