I read a lot of books that write about positive thinking, from those books telling how we should always think positively under any circumstances. The question that always arises in my mind, to always think positively is "How can I think positively when someone deceives me?" I will definitely be upset and angry with myself.
One time I was called that my brother was arrested by the police, then I was asked to speak to my brother, I believed because his voice was exactly right.
Listening to the story of the caller who was said to be the police, my mind became uneasy, I unconsciously mentioned the name of my brother, in short he asked me to pay the fine by sending phone credit, and I just followed it, up to several times, even when I bought credit, the pulse seller reminds me that I might be cheated. Until finally I called my brother and I asked where he was. That's where I realized that I was cheated, I didn't tell my brother that I was cheated.
In a state of annoyance and anger, I lost rational thinking. With an emotional feeling I called my mentor, and I told my story. My mentor casually said that it often happened to anyone, he said why I was upset because my ego was affected. I understand the meaning, meaning that I have to learn from the incident then don't need to think about it.
Indeed when I was called and then knew it was my brother, my mind became negative, imagining many things about my brother, I finally became restless. I should have thought more positively so I became calm. If there is a police station because of a vehicle error or even an accident, it will certainly be safe at the police station. Then calmly maybe I can contact my brother or maybe his closest family.
I've read a good sentence that says: Positive mind finds opportunity in everything. Negative mind finds faults in everything. After I got the lesson cheated by the people above, I learned how to think positively in every situation, and until now I still have to be trained to learn positive thinking. After all this time I learned to always think positively, I believe that the sentence above is true, there is another experience that makes me more confident in the sentence above.
The lesson I got
If I think negatively, then after we know that we didn't get the first project, we can think "why are we fixing it again, the project can't be". We will not change to be more ready to handle larger projects. By thinking that the first project cannot, we need to prepare ourselves to be able to work on a larger project, even if we can even in the first project, we are not necessarily ready to do it.
It turns out that the wise sentence above is true, by thinking positively, we prepare ourselves so that if there is a bigger project we will be ready and after it is ready, it turns out that a project of considerable value begins to arrive. And we can confidently explain how the business process is to handle such a large project, because we get experience from projects that were not obtained at the beginning, but we were given many lessons to get a large project. It seems that the value of the project that will be obtained with the value of the lessons we get is far greater than the value of the lessons we got, because from these lessons we got other projects with much greater value, and we are all sure we can solve them.
