Belief and Believe

Looking at this, many do not know the difference which exist between these two words. I repeat many. So I will reveal the mystery behind these two words.
Belief is faith or trust in the reality of something; often based upon one's own reasoning, trust in a claim, desire of actuality, and/or evidence considered.
Something believed. The quality or state of believing.
Religious faith.
One's religious or moral convictions.

While believe is to accept as true, particularly without absolute certainty (i.e., as opposed to knowing).
To accept that someone is telling the truth. Also, to have religious faith; to believe in a greater truth.
The verb form is believe, the noun form is belief. To understand the difference between these two forms we need to show how each are used in a sentence.
Starting with the noun (belief) : Our belief in the existence of God is reinforced by what we observe in the natural phenomena, another example is:- Despite the belief to the contrary, no race is superior to the other. Another one is:- Many rural dwellers have no genuine belief in the modern financial system.

Now the verb:

  • Those who believe in the existence of God are no less intelligent than those who don't.
  • When you tell and listen to lies a lot, you soon begin to believe lies.
  • If you believe that tall story, then you can believe anything.
Again, the difference between belief and believe is similar to that of safe and save. The difference, minor as it might seem from the orthographic point of view, should command all seriousness at the level of grammar.
