This is my first post, the picture above is a lesson that is often taught by the teachers of the Koran to every child who is only 5 to 10 years old.
Iqra 'is very well taught before proceeding to the larger Qur'an. In Indonesia itself the teachings are popular and become custom or custom for Indonesian people to teach iqra 'in early childhood.
