INDIAN EDUCATION CHANGES WITH TIME
In India In early days people used to believed that the girl should not go out of the houses, neither for playing, enjoying, nor for education. They weren't sent to school. Because of this the illiteracy rate increase. The mindset of people in early age was that, educating girls are of no use as they will get married at an early age and then they would be there in her husband house busy in work and child.
Whereas boys were sent to school for education as he would become the main pillar of the family for the cause of money.
Later with time, some girls opposed their family, few family members who were matured encouraged the girl child to go to the schools to taste the flavor of education and choose a stream of life. Education doesn't only make the being smart but they give the confidence to them so that they can stand for their rights in society.
Slowly-slowly the girl number was gradually increasing in every field whether it is science, medical, engineering, law, government jobs, business, pilot, space and many more. Still, there are many underprivileged villages in India where the education, electricity are not in reach and the mentality of the person there the also very low.
Our Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi is trying his best to provide as much facility to these areas and government schools and he launches many schemes and awards which encourage the girl education.
