Why is it important to practice your Multiplication and Memorization?

Now obviously we are memorizing daily. You can choose to fill your mind with skills that can be a benefit to you your entire life by doing them over and over again. Using and teaching your brain to memorize is probably the most important skill a student should have.

The 9 Trick

The 9 trick is a time old life hack that helps students learn to multiply by 9 very quickly. By spread out your hands in front of you, you can solve for the product. From the left, count as many fingers as the number you want to multiply nine with, lets say you want to multiply 9 by 4.

Count four fingers from the left and then put the fourth finger down. Count the fingers to the left of the folded finger. There are three on the left and this is the first digit of your answer. Count the fingers to the right of the folded finger. In this example, there are six and this is the second digit of the answer. The number will now read 36 or thirty-six.
