Enterprise Ethereum Alliance According to a press release dated January 17, 2018, the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) has appointed Ron Resnick, former president of the Airfuel Alliance, as its first managing director.
Resnick also chaired the WiMAX Forum, which works with Intel's Broadband Wireless Network at the launch of one of the first 4G broadband modems.
Julia Faura, chairman of the AEA board of directors, made a press statement today and said:
"4G wireless broadband has changed the world and we believe that the block-chain will have a similar impact on society," said Ron, our first director, to build the organization, interact with members and encourage continuous development of technical content.
Launched in February 2017, the AEA was set up to enhance privacy, scalability and security for the development of Ethereum and the entire Ethereum Block chain.
Resnick, who will organize the EEA meeting at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on January 23, 2018, said in a press release:
"My focus is to direct Ethereum-based best technologies to open standards and open source reference architects to further transform Ethereum into an enterprise-class technology." said.
Since February, the community has reached 200 members and is thus the largest open source block-chain. The member list includes JPMorgan and Santander founding members, new members such as Mastercard, Intel and Microsoft, and a number of Ethereum investors and block-chain organizations.
I hope they will do something positive and productive on behalf of Ethereum and Block chain technology.
