Hi @drcrypto1, thank you for participating in the Industrial Electrical Homework. We have assessed your Homework post , and the below captures our assessments.

A. The type of transformer can be understood by looking at the number of primary and secondary turns in the picture of the transformer. I hope you understand. The turn ratio of your transformer is correct.

B. You have correctly written the function of various parts of a power transformer, but it would be better if you marked the various parts in the picture of the transformer a little smoother.

C. A better presentation would be to state the rating of the distribution transformer used to power your home or 415/220 volts.

D. You have calculated a 5555 KVA transformer for a 5000 KW load. You should know that the transformer has to be selected with a higher rating than the load. A transformer with a 5555 KVA rating is not designed. 6 MVA or 6000 KVA transformer will be correct for a 5000 KW load.

E. You did not write the unit of rating by looking at the transformer's nameplate. The transformer is a very important electrical unit. I hope you understand.

F. It is very important to know the HT and LT current of a 2500 KVA or 2.5 MVA transformer. If you work as an electrician, you will understand its importance in the workplace.

G. Power supply companies give power factors to prevent wastage of power. Power factor improvement is done using power capacitors and synchronous motors.

H. It would have been good homework if you had looked at the transformer's nameplate and given two more important differences. Like, could mention primary and secondary voltage. I hope you understand.
