The Ditch Begins

Las year when i was 16 i used to go to this storm drain with a few friends and sometimes it got spooky but mostly it was an amazing experience. The things you find there are amazing. I found a backpack full of checks, credit cards, a laptop charger and a picture of a guy in a pool with his son. I tried to contact him using one of the names on the credit card and it turns out that he doesnt want to be contacted at all.Another time i found a leather wallet that said "BAD MOTHER FUCKER" on it with no money no ID, nothing. Ever since the hurricane there have been cooler and cooler stuff appearing. One being a blwn fire extinguisher and parts of a telephone pole. My favorite was a wallet from some guy in houston (i live in corpus christi, its pretty far) and a fully functional shopping kart i have used to move the heavier stuff.

Im planning on going again on friday and im planing on documenting some of it, photos, audio, text and even video. Near the stormdrain is a park where kids smoke weed but they are actually pretty cool.

Im probably going to log some updates to give some preparedness tips on how not to die. I hope i find something cool or stupid to collect.
