The enemy of success

Yes, you heard correctly - procrastination IS the enemy of success. Procrastination IS the fear of taking decisive action rather than progressing an idea. What you want to do is to break this cycle. Organize the effort into tasks instead of projects and set a deadline to achieve this. There's more to it than that so let's get started.

In Michael Roizen's newest book, The enemy of Success, he talks about the importance of a growth-oriented mindset. People who are successful are those who have a growth mindset, are willing to take calculated risks, and are capable of realizing their full potential. This book gives you several practical advises on how to build a growth-oriented mindset and apply it to achieving your own personal success. One of the main suggestions in the book is to develop a "listening habit". I thought this phrase made the title a little bit unclear, but in the end, I realized that this really means just that - you need to be open to receiving information and suggestions and then listen to them carefully and try to act upon them.

You may think that listening is hard, but I assure you it's not. It's surprisingly easy once you get used to it. The main reason why you need to get started on a "listening habit" right now is because you're so close to your goals. You may not have reached them yet. You need to get started today, right now, in order to achieve your dreams. So make sure you remember what you're hoping to achieve - now and in the future.

Once you've set the proper goals, you'll be amazed at how much further you'll get along with your goals. Because you're always thinking about your goals, you'll be constantly on the go and motivated. Your drive will increase because you'll constantly see the improvements you're making. And you don't even have to do anything special - you can get the same effect by thinking about small, gradual, and safe goals that will get you closer to your ultimate goals.

The next step is simply to stick with these plans. The book has many pages devoted to planning, prioritizing, and doing it. You should spend a lot of time on this part of the process. Why? Because it's where you're going to see the biggest gains - and where you're going to make the biggest mistakes.

If you're serious about becoming successful, I hope that by reading this book, you will quickly realize that your path to success is clear and that it is exactly what you want. Just remember to stay focused on the bigger picture and remember to do the little things - those things will eventually get you to your ultimate goal. So get started right now!
