And don't forget to hedge against the economic mess what will be caused by this and the others unmentioned bubbles that are ripe to pop all around us. In my believe especially Silver but also Gold will be excellent hedges for what is to come soon.

I dont think people realise whats coming down the road, when energy production collapses we will see the human population bubble, linked to cheap and relatively abundant energy, burst catastrophicly. The gold and silver above ground now will be all there will ever be as the energy required to mine it gets redirected to more urgent needs. Cryptos too require loads of energy to mine so they too will stop being produced. I do have hope however heres a TED lecture on energy that promises much

@lunix I may have mentioned this to you, or some other on steemit, that I find it a mystery what the energy plans are from the globalists who are engineering the digital economy.
Consider the MASSIVE ENERGY REQUIRED to supply the industry for robots, drones, supercomputers, A.I., digital banking, etc.
My speculation is they have energy supplies that the general public and markets are unaware of...

I think solar energy will replace some of the energy we use now. But energy consumption will fall and so will the standard of living decline. I don't believe that there is a magic new energy source coming in time to avoid massive suffering on wide scale. I feel very sorry for future generations about this. Lets hope I am wrong.

Your reply is similar to the reply I received the last time I brought this forecast possibility - while I think energy secrets are hidden, I am considering the possibility the rulers are fools and they will face the energy crisis unprepared as you expect, which has me pondering that we - as a specie - may be better off in the longer cycle to have the energy crisis.
That will be catastrophic, however the stark contrast of the ruling class and the rest of the world would wake up the willfully ignorant to the real threat and enslavement system that is in place.
But if a energy source replaces the current inefficiencies then the system may creep on indefinitely.
The planned so-called 4th industrial revolution (aka digital economy) require higher energy demands so a major energy shift is required - that is the fork in the road - so to speak, I am forecasting. Supercomputers, mass surveillance, digital banking, mass manufacturing, mass distribution, etc are energy hogs for globalization.
So maybe, we should hope you are correct.
