Well, see, that's another thing I didn't know. I didn't know I had or needed or frankly would ever want a press secretary or a herald/ambassador/prime minister, whatever he is. He's good at making things up as he goes, though.

I mean, did you have a herald? And winner circle jackets? And so on? Is there really a circle of winners? It always appears as a list of winners, in a rather organized manner. I'm not sure how that's a circle.

Ha ha, yeah, I just come with the crown. You don't even know and then BAM, press secretary.

You can add other positions as needed, or as people appoint themselves.

Twice a year we get together for a BBQ and we get in a circle and take a panoramic selfie. It's tradition. :D

So... either you've been slacking off for the first three weeks that I was on top, or this is a position that only pops up after the fourth week, which I'm being told hasn't happened before. Which means, this is your first go being press secretary for the engagement league.

The BBQ sounds great. I think you should host it and organize it. I'll bring the chips and salsa. :)

Sure, I can organize it. That doesn't tend to work out well (historically speaking), but at least you and I will be there... and we'll have chips and salsa. Can the chips be Juanita's?

You deserve some down time after your post. I suggest you go get some rest if you like. Catch a few zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs. Count some sheep. Dream a dream. You know, leave your cares and worries behind for several hours. Rejuvenate. Refresh your fried brain matter.

Ha ha, that's great! Let's still have the BBQ though.

I'm going to take an eight hour nap soon. That will be nice. I tend to take one of those every day. If I don't, I get grumpy. Gotta refresh that brain matter!

You know, I've been learning this the hard way, but if you mention someone in a comment, it at least gives them the opportunity to see what otherwise could have been hidden forever. Now, I know that's not a guarantee people will come running, because they think they have better things to do and all, but when it comes to being a part of an engagement league, it's nearly a foregone conclusion.

And, anyway, it wasn't much of a secret that you're making this up as you go. 😬

I only tag people when I want them to come see what I'm writing about them. And when I talk behind someone's back, it's in front of their face. Wait... sure, let's go with that! :D

Yeah, I like shooting from the hip. It's hipper than planning things out. Hopefully it's at least entertaining.

Talking about someone in third person when they're right there, and you all know it—priceless.

Okay, maybe I revealed a little too much there of my own personal demeanor. I will just say I haven't done that in a very long time. Very long. Yeeeeeeeeears. :)

Heh, that could get you in trouble. It probably makes them more upset. I don't think I've ever done that to someone. I'd probably just walk away if I were that frustrated. No sense saying something that I'll regret later.
