These are my initial impressions that may change until you write a review. For now, I am very pleased with the product I received. He has a few minor flaws, but it's such a clinging to nonsense. The game is a bit faster than the original from 1995, the reapers work faster, in my opinion, multiplayer can be very attractive for today, but I'll talk about it in a separate paragraph.
The classic game is well rendered and it's easy to preview yourself, just click the space bar, and then again, you can repeat it all the way and compare every, even the smallest detail. The graphics are not beautiful and if someone expects mainly visual impressions, here you will not see them. However, the game looks simply nice, neat, and legible. Rather, it looks the same for ordinary players, it is difficult for me to honestly assess because I played too much classic.
CnC and RA have been cast exactly as it should be done when you want to make a complete remake of the classic game. Everything improves and leaves the choice between old and new. Let Blizzard bananas look and learn. Petroglyph and Lemon Sky Studios have had a much harder job than you, and they have managed. You did the pigs, they delivered an almost concrete product. Even in old games, sometimes patches were needed for some bugs and bugs, so I don't treat it as a serious fault. I feel very much fun playing and I know that the money I have invested will keep me entertained for many months, as with "The Witcher 3" for example. However, I do not know if the game will be accepted by people who have no connection with the game in the field of nostalgia.
The story is ok, but I do not speak, because I rewound some of the videos because I streamed a few times on a private Facebook account. Anyway, they defend themselves quite well after years. It's a little worse with those from "Red Alert" (in the sense, they look less readable, especially those with actors), but because more is happening in them, it is more pleasant to watch them in my opinion. For modern players, it will look rather too kitschy to get involved, but I will tell you that there is no tragedy. Sure, there is a bit of cringe, the simplicity of the plot is more visible than ever before, but there are elements that add some charm to the plot. For example, the NOD brotherhood creates false propaganda for GDI or there are problems typical for many armies of the world - underfunding etc. Tiberian Dawn "would have the potential for a scenario slightly weaker than that of" WarCraft 3 ".
Just as the remastered songs were thin for me, like a snake's ass (I don't remember which edition they were added and added, probably on the occasion of the 10th anniversary), so the remaster by Frank Klepacki and The Tiberian Sons is a dream come true. I don't know the soundtrack for "Red Alert" yet, because I was playing only a Tiberium game over the weekend, so I only evaluate it. Maybe there was a worse song, I don't know. I didn't pay attention to it, I like most for now. Awesome job, every song is in line with the original climate and is great to listen to. As I heard the song "Command & Conquer" for the first time during a large tank battle, I dropped out. Cosmos! Immediately I got a shot of adrenaline straight into my heart and my alcohol-filled body began to think, micro with individuals, think a few steps forward, as before.
Dynamic multiplayer at a time when game speed and intensity of sensations count, then "Command and Conquer" can experience another youth like Kevin Spacey in "House of Cards". Just tune it up and correct a few restrictions of the original from 1995. As I wrote in previous texts, I don't have experience in multi, because I only played them in the form of RA and LAN, but let's face it - classic CnC is too slow in its original form. Here, I had to reset the board a few times because I lost the main building from stupidity. And there were not many enemies and they were not tanks, unless we are talking about these fire Brotherhood of Nod. I play normal and it is noticeably harder than in the original and I am happy with this fact, the game will be a challenge on a difficult level, and the achievements on steam are worth it :). In addition, thanks to the fact that multi boards are not large (or at least from what I have noticed), matches should not last longer than 30 minutes, and the expansion of the base goes quite quickly. So normal players, i.e. those who do not know the original, will be able to easily get into this world. Who knows, the game can even win its own e-sport. If the studio plays it well, it can bring orphans after "WarCraft 3 Reforged" and those bored with SC 1. It will be easier to build a stage with them. Then I will be really proud that I bought the collector's version and trusted the creators. :)
