A hero is one who listens to his heart and takes out the courage to do good without caring for his own good.

A stranger began filming a young woman who was leaning on hands and knees on the sidewalk, on the side of the road, the odyssey could have happened in several ways. They could hear small cries that seemed to come from under the sidewalk, from a concrete drainage basin.

Lying on the thick asphalt, it slides first through the narrow concrete cover, down to the sewer. It is an opening tight enough that it almost seems to be in danger of being trapped, as it bends its head down the sidewalk and gets out of sight.

A man who records, leaves the camera to take a look at the narrow opening. Friendly calls are heard by the woman, who hides from view. Just a few seconds later, his head appears again, and he introduces the creature that was making those little cries in his hands to the person outside: it's a little kitty!

The cat did not seem worse for the wear, getting his happy ending after the rescue with quick thinking. If the woman had not heard those little screams or realized where they were coming from, or if she had not been brave enough to enter that precarious space, this story could have ended very differently.
