King Arthur: myth or legend?

Everybody have heard, read and even watch about this character covered in the history and the legend.  Most of us know about his adventures in his quest for the Holy Grial, his friendship with Merlin, his love stories with Guenevere and Morgaine, and his dead at hands of his bastard son, Mordred. However, there's something that intrigues me a lot, a question maybe answered or maybe not: is the Arthurian cycle really a legend or is a myth confused a lot of times as a legend by people?

Accounting that the myth and the legend are bigly different due to  the historical content aspect, I mean, that in the legend we know about where in an era is set the facts and in the myth we don't, is possible that the Arthurian narrative is both... Or one of them.

True story for me :-)!

I'm curious: Why true? :)

lol! True is there was a King Arthur but we will never know details of his story.

Maybe that King Arthur actually can be Aurelius Ambrosinus, a britan-roman general of the second, third century... Now that I'm thinking about it.

I know what need to do it to get this know for sure!

This is more of a myth than a fact. Even holy grial is myth , just like king arthur

I think the same, but there's something more intriguing: According to archaeologists, there's a possibility that Arthur is actually a historical figure like Aurelius Ambrosinus. I dare to say that it wuld be a mistake, but we will see with the time if Ambrosinus was Arthur or not.

let me know when you find the answer. Good Luck
