Tapping into our creative genius we need to understand how the creative mind works. learning this core foundation of knowledge will allow a person to see where they may be impending the outflow of their natural stream of creative ideas and thoughts. The process of tapping into your creative mind is one of removing the barriers to your natural creative state. Being a recognized inventor, I try to always pair the problem I'm trying to solve with a combination of cultural and behavioral insights that put my ideas at the center of the needs and wants of the user. This requires a keen eye, patience, and repetition. Many of the greatest designs to date were born through observation and iteration. You've done your research; endless hours of inquiries and information acquisition. Now let it all marinate. Some call this "thinking aside", as you're essentially putting your brain on the shelf and stepping away. By turning off your mind this way, you're allowing the information to set in and that subsequent spark of creativity the necessary room to ignite. Then comes the most important part of creative thinking, Failure, It's the foundation to success. Learning to embrace and celebrate failure, you'll forever transform your understanding of the creative process.
How the sentiment of how maybe the creative bit is on loan, After going over this with a colleague of mine, We both agreed that this very well could be the way our minds deal with this creative flow process so when we look about implementing something that fits our agenda, we can justify and capture it in that right moment. Creating and creativity are healthy processes in contradiction to symptoms of mental health illness that really differ from normal thinking and behavior. To justify this our minds could very well use this "loan" thought of process to keep the creativity flowing and abundant.
Once you learn how to tap into this thought process it can be very therapeutic. I believe this role helps people learn how to deal with normal everyday thinking and behavior and allows one to create a link between creativity and something tangible, via art, music, inventions, writing etc.
