Why is doom metal and black metal your favourite music Mace, I used to be a metalhead as a kid but these days I just can't listen to it anymore. It's too aggressive, it sounds vulgar to me and whenever I am able to hear the lyrics, they are talking about death, pain and negative things.
These days whenever I listen to singers, it has to have a positive message. Otherwise I will just listen to instrumental jazz or post rock.
