This character is the reason I enjoy watching Chicago PD. He beats confessions out of suspects. Some of the things he does is too gruesome. He broke a man's fingers with channel locks and burned a man's face on a stove burner. He made his son's killer dig his own grave, killed him and buried him in it. He might be a part-time crime boss for a syndicate, which explains his abusive behavior. His behavior is what keeps the show in production and highly rated.
