This year has been a very good one for Patapaa Amisty, the Swedru- based artiste who got us all 'crazy' with his 'One Corner' song. The song has propelled him to something that even some well- established artistes in the country have struggled to attain - international recognition. 'One Corner' was not only a Ghanaian but a cross-border hit with Nigeria being one of the hotbeds. And there is documentary proof to this assertion. The latest records from search engine, Google, indicates that Patapaa was one of the 10 highly searched songs in Nigeria in 2017.
It actually placed fourth on the list beating Davido's hit song, 'If' and many others like Runtown's 'Mad Over You' and it was the only Ghanaian song on the list. Interestingly, 'One Corner' placed eighth on the Ghana list while Davido's if placed third.
